July 2026 Bottle Club Luncheon
About
The theme for our July Bottle Club is ‘Yarra Valley’ - reds or whites - with 3 years minimum bottle age for reds. The Yarra Valley is one of the oldest wine regions in Victoria with it’s viticultural roots going back to the mid 19th century. The region had it’s winemaking activity relaunched in the early 1960’s and is now home to such iconic wineries as Mount Mary, Yarra Yering and Domaine Chandon.
It is home to over 90 producers and is one of the most visited wine regions in Australia. The Valley produces all the usual cool climate varieties including Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and it is home to some of Australia’s best sparkling wines.
So, dig out of your cellar or seek out from your merchant a premium Yarra Valley bottle and join with your friends and guests at the BC table for a stunning luncheon provided by The Club by Felix and celebrate one of our most iconic wine regions!
Cheers,
Convenor Shane
P.S. As I will be sadly absent from the BC luncheon in July, esteemed Club wine aficionado
Graeme Watkins has kindly agreed to step into the breach as guest Convenor. More from Graeme closer to the day.
