Learn to sing a cappella with The Baden Street Singers... again!

In this catered, full-day workshop, secondary school-aged kids are welcomed to experience what it's like to sing in a highly decorated Perth chorus.

Over the course of the day, they'll learn two a cappella arrangements, including a special commission just for this event. Covering skills such as breath support, creating connected sound and vocal placement, this workshop will serve as both an excellent introduction to choral singing for beginners and a great development opportunity for those already involved in music.

At the end of the day, please join us for the Untitled A Cappella Showcase, where participants will show what they have learned to family and friends - this time with some surprise guest performers!

The workshop is open to all experience levels, though kids who can read music may gain more from the session. All music for the event will be made available at the workshop, and both lunch and light evening refreshments will be provided.

If you will be attending the A Cappella Showcase as an audience member, please book tickets in the corresponding session.

Please note that the Chevron Perth City to Surf for gen U running event will be taking place on the same morning, so there will be extensive road closures in the area and we strongly suggest taking public transport to our workshop. The road closures will be finished by the evening.
