Discover how to grow more while using less water at this practical, hands-on workshop.Hosted by The Natural Circle in Jarrahdale on behalf of the Serpentine Jarrahdale Food Farmers Association (SJFFA) and 5 Rivers NRM, this interactive workshop brings together local experts Gary and Julie Richards from Down2Earth and Robyn Brown from Waste is my Resource.
You'll learn and get your hands dirty creating three different types of water-wise wicking beds and pots, designed to maximise productivity while conserving water.
The workshop also includes:
- The latest techniques in no-dig gardening
- An introduction to building healthy, living soils
- Two composting methods: SPICE composting and the aerated windrow composting system
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced gardener, you'll leave with practical skills and ideas you can use at home to grow healthy, productive fruit, vegetables, and herbs.
