At the afternoon matinee concert, the 150 voice RMP Oratorio Festival Choir and RMP Orchestra will present a magnificent one hour long concert featuring Fauré's beloved 'Requiem', as well as a short program of beautiful sacred works for choir by living composers including Ola Gjeilo, Elaine Hagenberg and Dan Forrest.
At the evening Gala, the 6 Finalists of the 2026 RMP ARIA will battle it out for the chance to win Australia's most prestigious oratorio singing competition. At the end of the Final, RMP Chief Conductor Andrew Wailes will conduct a performance of Fauré's 'Requiem' featuring the 150 voice RMP Oratorio Festival Choir, withthe RMP Orchestra, and and outstanding soloists.
Please note that the Aria Final will only take place at 7pm. The afternoon performance will not include entry to the evening Final.
