About

This program is for staff who will be conducting Ultrasound Guided Peripheral Intravenous Cannulation.

Staff eligibility to attend the workshop
• 12 months experience in performing Peripheral Intravenous Cannulation (PIVC)
• Approval to attend the training by your line manager
• A commitment to complete all course requirements - which includes,

 Pre-reading (approximately 4-6 hours). The link to access the pre-reading will be emailed to you following registration
 Attendance at the 2-hour clinical workshop
 Practical assessment x 5 - access to the Ultrasound Guided PIVC equipment and to an approved assessor.

Resources will be provided.
