NAIDOC Week - Kid's Sensory Play Area by Koori Curriculum
About
For five decades, NAIDOC Week has celebrated the voices of First Nations communities — steady, unapologetic, and proud. Each year, its themes have called for truth, celebrated culture, honoured resistance, and reminded the nation of who they are.“Fifty Years of Deadly” marks a milestone. It’s a tribute to the people who built this movement. The Elders who stood firm, the organisers who made space, the artists who turned resistance into expression, and the communities who keep showing up, year after year.
Come to the Umina Beach Book Nook back garden and celebrate 50 Years of NAIDOC Week!
Koori Curriculum will be setting up early childhood sensory, visual arts and play experiences for children to immerse themselves into celebrating NAIDOC Week in the garden.
$5 fee required, all proceeds will be donated to Children’s Ground.
Still deadly. Always.
