Identifying & picking wild mushrooms can be scary.
Have you ever seen people with baskets full of delicious foraged mushrooms & longed to do that?
Well now you can!
Learn how to identify wild mushrooms safely with our comprehensive beginners basic mushroom workshop.
Learn hands on skills from 1 of Australia's leading Foraging Educators -Ingrid Button, with over 20 years foraging experience she shares her wealth of knowledge in a funny, warm and easy to understand way that will make you feel at ease & safely able to go to the forest with a basket and pick your own mushrooms.
Ingrid is the only Nationally accredited Trainer & Assessor who teaches about foraging & fungi.
Mushroom hunting is the most dangerous of all foraging & it is important to learn first hand what to look for, what to avoid, how to smell, test and feel for mushrooms, as it is an ancient skill that has been passed down for generations by matriarchs' to ensure this knowledge is shared with respect.
This Workshop will focus on basic easy to identify mushrooms - Pine mushrooms and Agaric field mushrooms. We also offer a more in depth advanced mushroom workshop once you have become comfortable with basic mushroom foraging.
