Indoor Mosaic Workshop for BeginnersSlow down, get creative and discover the beautiful art of mosaics in this relaxed, small-group workshop with mosaic artist Cayla Pothan.
Over two inspiring sessions, you’ll learn the foundations of indoor mosaic-making while creating your own unique glass artwork on a timber canvas. Explore the magic of working with colourful stained glass, shimmering mirror, found treasures and decorative embellishments as your design comes to life.
Perfect for complete beginners, you’ll be guided through:
• Glass cutting techniques
• Choosing the right indoor adhesives and materials
• Mosaic design and composition
• Working with delicate glass and decorative elements
• Grouting, finishing and polishing your piece
You’ll head home with your completed mosaic, workshop notes, new creative skills and the confidence to continue your mosaic journey.
All materials, tools and a cuppa are included.
Workshop Schedule
Saturday 29 August | 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Learn mosaic techniques, glass cutting and begin creating your artwork.
Sunday 30 August | 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Grouting, polishing and finishing your mosaic masterpiece.
Places are limited to ensure plenty of individual guidance.
