Featuring beloved arias and art songs by Handel, Mozart, Rossini, Puccini, and Tchaikovsky, alongside cherished songs by Bernstein, Rodgers, Loewe, and Andrew Lloyd Webber, this captivating program celebrates the beauty, romance, and drama of the human voice and virtuosic piano performance.From the haunting lyricism of Lascia ch'io pianga and the heartfelt simplicity of O mio babbino caro to the joyous exuberance of I Feel Pretty and I Could Have Danced All Night, audiences will be transported through centuries of unforgettable music.

About the performers:
Natalia Melnik was born in Moscow and moved to Sydney in 2013. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, with her research focused on making Russian vocal music more accessible to non-Russian-speaking singers. Natalia is the founder of the “Russian For Singers” project that helps hundreds of singers from around the world explore Russian vocal music. In 2017-2019, Natalia sang the roles of Valeria in Alessandro Scarlatti’s “La Caduta De’ Decemviri”, Marcella in “Boheme a piacere”, Princess Tamara in the play “Demon”, Clara Schumann in “Happy Birthday, Clara!”. During 2021-2025, Natalia created and performed a number of chamber concert programs. Natalia’s recordings are available on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming platforms.
John Martin has become celebrated as a sensitive and entertaining performer, in a colourful career of great variety. As pianist and Music Director, John has worked with many stars, including David Hobson, Marina Prior, Mark Vincent, The Australian Tenors, Deborah de Graaff, Vov Dylan, Teddy Tahu Rhodes, Amelia Farrugia, Jane Rutter, Yvonne Kenny, Greta Bradman, Geoffrey Chard, Miriam Margolyes and Composer, Ann Carr Boyd. John was the department store pianist in Bruce Beresford’s movie “Ladies in Black”.
