⚜️Details:
This is an Albert Park Scouts, Scout-Section "Standing camp"
Our aim for this camp is to get outside, build camping skills, and hike as a unit.
Scouts will be camping, but there will be toilets, and showers available.

This camp will be great experience towards Stradbroke Cup in 2027 (our local camping competition!) and go towards the necessary 10 nights under canvas needed for the Australian Jamboree in December 2027

Activities:

Friday night: Scouts Arrive having eaten dinner to set up camp
Saturday: Morning: Adventurous Activities run by Gillwell
Saturday Afternoon: Camping skills and free time (we'll do a little competition of how well set up our campsites are!)

Sunday: Pack up camp and Hike (roughly 10-15km)

There are limited places for Adult supporters on this camp. Adult supporters must be registered with Scouts Vic.

🚗 Transport Register:
All youth and adults travelling to the winter camp are required to register their journey via our carpool app. Register your trip and offer a ride if possible here:

⛑️Health, Dietary Reqs and Medication:
All attendees are required to fill out a Personal Information Record (PIR form). (Previous forms are accepted if there are no changes). PIR forms must be returned by_______

🎒Packing list:
•OAS Purple + Green book
•Day Backpack (incl. water bottle and hat)
•Scout uniform plus 2-3 changes warm clothes (include underwear and socks)
•Sleeping bag (0 degrees min)
•Camp blanket
•Sleeping mat or air mattress
•Pillow
•Pyjamas/Thermals
•Closed toe shoes suitable for bushwalking.
•Spare pair shoes/ gum boots
•Beanie and gloves
•Windproof/ water resistant rain jacket.
•Toiletries (hairbrush, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, soap)
•Towel
•Warm jumper
•Headtorch or hand torch
•Medication (labelled and give to your leader)
•Dilly Bag (camp mug, cutlery, bowl, plate and tea towel)
•Plastic bag for wet/ dirty clothes
•Please do not bring food from home - due to allergies.
