Dreamhouse Theatre Company presents Summer at Suspended Stone Camp by Madelaine NunnA random group of ‘delinquent’ teenagers are sent to Suspended Stone Camp in the middle of nowhere over the Summer school holidays. They are there to learn discipline, to be broken down and built back up and return to society as ‘normal’ young people.
This heart warming and quirky coming of age play is funny and poignant in equal measure. It reminds us that we are all unique, yet still connected through our common humanity. That we should cherish and nurture our young people for who they are and resist the fear and influence/rs that often drive conformity.
