Celebrating 25 years of impact with mmvllenJoin us as we celebrate 25 years of empowering young people across Melbourne’s west and north. By connecting education, industry, and community, we have helped thousands of young people to overcome barriers to employment and confidently step into their futures.
We’re marking this 25th milestone with a special gala dinner event, and taking the moment to share our vision for the future.
With special guests:
- Jessica Watson (OAM) became the youngest person to sail solo non-stop and unassisted around the world. She was named Young Australian of the Year in 2011 and received an Order of Australia Medal in 2012 for services to sailing and as a role model to Australian youth.
- At 27, Mohamed Semra became Mayor of the City of Maribyrnong and the first person from sub-Saharan Africa to be elected mayor in Australia. He is a Councillor for Burndap Ward, and the founder of Endeavour Youth Australia, which facilitates anti-racism discussions and nurtures leadership skills among young people from diverse backgrounds.
- Beloved Australian entertainer Tim Campbell will host proceedings. Tim Campbell is one of Australia's most versatile and much loved entertainers. From leading TV roles on Home and Away, House Husbands and Big Sky, to host of national prime time shows including Wheel of Fortune and Postcards and leads in stage shows Wicked, Rent and Shout, Tim has done it all!
