This carefully curated concert uses music and song to reflect on the many aspects of life and light. Whether it be about love, the brightness of day or the deep mystery of the night, the music of composers such as Gjeilo, Lauridsen and Rachmaninov reveals the beauty which surrounds us as we live our lives.The major work of the program is the exquisite but rarely performed “Messe Basse” by Gabriel Fauré which shares some similarities with his famous Requiem.
The Central Coast Chorale looks forward to sharing the joy of singing and making music with the lovers of fine music.
