Yes, it’s that time of year; chilly short daylight hours, cool nights. The Winter Energy Get-Together is a gathering of three groups who will share how to improve home efficiency,
lowering household energy bills, and full home electrification.
The Get-Together will give three short talks:
- Mike McCluskey (Net Zero Channel) will talk through the outcomes of their recent Re-Energise project which informed and partially funded six local households to reduce energy costs and reduce emissions
- Peter Norris (Channel Mens Shed) will provide you with simple home modifications to improve comfort and reduce power bills
- Jon Ettershank (Australian Electric Vehicle Association) will tell you about the rapidly changing electric vehicle (EV) market, including the emerging second-hand market, connecting car to home, and what the near future will bring.
Over a cuppa there will also be a chance to participate in an open discussion about home energy efficiency and its benefits, and to chat with EV owners who will have their vehicles available for inspection.
