About
Join Young in Soil and Earth Science Society (YiSES) for an informal mentoring evening designed to help you explore the many career paths available in soil and earth science.Whether you are drawn to agriculture, horticulture, environmental science, academia, industry, or outreach and engagement, this event is your chance to hear directly from professionals working across a range of fields. You'll get the chance to rotate between a diverse range of mentors, asking the questions that matter to you and gaining honest insight into what a career in these areas really looks like.
Beyond the mentors this is also a great opportunity to connect with your fellow peers who share your interests, build your network and make meaningful connections in a relaxed low-pressure setting.
What to expect:
Informal networking with a range of soil and earth science professionals, small group and one on one conversations with mentors, insight into diverse career pathways including academia, industry, agriculture, horticulture, environmental science and outreach and engagement, the chance to connect with peers in the field and free pizza!
