Join colleagues from across the region for a collaborative Learning Alliance Meeting focused on supporting English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners in secondary school settings.Led by the NWVR region’s English as an Additional Language Officer, Dominic Byrne, this session provides an opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the region for a collaborative session on supporting English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners in secondary schools. Participants will explore practical classroom approaches that strengthen English language development while supporting EAL learners to succeed across the Victorian Curriculum. Share ideas, learn from peers, and leave with ready-to-use strategies you can confidently apply in your classroom.
Following the session, you have the option to stay for a school walkthrough, which will last approximately 30 minutes.
Please note:
Participant numbers are strictly capped to minimise disruption to our host school. We encourage you to register early to secure a place. A waitlist will be available once capacity is reached.
