Bush Witch Productions and Slag Heap Projects present an evening of live music, short films, storytelling cinematic magic.Join us on Wilyakali Country for a Sunday session featuring live performances from Grace Barr and Jojo Rae, alongside short film screenings from Bridget Chappell and Rugby.
🪕 Grace Barr
Moulding pop-country vocals, clawhammer banjo and harmony-driven choruses, Grace Barr’s songs are an energetic ride and a celebration of lesbians who love road trips. Originally from Northwest UK, Grace performs with Hinano Fujisaki on saxophone, Yolanda Frost on drums and Annastacia Lucas on bass.
🎻 Jojo Rae
Jojo Rae is a singer and clawhammer banjo player from Sydney, blending a love of old-time music with an obsession for storytelling in rhyming couplets. Expect melodies that will be stuck in your head long after she’s gone.
🎞️ Bridget Chappell / Hextape
Hextape, aka Bridget Chappell, is a cellist, DJ/producer, as the sun goes down, Bridget will live-score La Duree, a short film.
We’ll also be joined by filmmaker Rugby, who will screen their short film Red Living Room.
