About this day:This course has been designed to support clinicians to gain confidence, knowledge and practical skills to apply, when working alongside paediatric patients and their families or significant others, when they present to Urgent Care Centre (UCC).
What is covered:
The programme brings a fun, full agenda of theory, practice, simulation and question-time all centered around the care of the paediatric patient, to safely explore skills and knowledge that can be directly transferred to paediatric care in the UCC.

Common paediatric presentations
Focus on triage
Red flag features
Simulated clinical scenarios
Technical skills stations – IV taping, NGT insertion
