GREAT SOUTHERN VIGNERON'S VINTAGE & VINES 2026
About
The purpose of this event is to allow Great Southern wine producers to gather, discuss vintage, fruit quality, challenges this year, and assess their wines against others within the region and against benchmark wines from elsewhere. These benchmarks are wines that are of comparable style, from regions that can be valuably compared, and which are known to be of good quality and/or successful in the marketplace. We will also do an update on new opportunities.*Benchmarking is limited to Riesling 2025, and Shiraz 2023.*
Sam Palmer from Castle Rock Estate will lead us through the Riesling and Ben Cane from Duke's Vineyard will lead us through the Shiraz.

A late lunch will be provided at Barrel Farm for networking.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU PURCHASE A WINE SUBMISSION TICKET FOR EACH WINE YOUR WISH TO SUBMIT. $30 PER WINE SUMISSION. DO NOT WRITE ALL YOUR WINE SUBMISSIONS ON ONE TICKET. Please send 2 bottles of each wine submission.
Wines must be delivered to the Great Southern Wine Producer's Association office (at an arranged time: Unit 7, 57-59 Lockyer Ave, Albany) or to Barrel Farm by Wed 29 July (with attention to Holly Buxton for GSWPA Event 5/8/26).
