The Albanese Labor Government has launched a major national consultation to shape the next phase of the National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children 2022-2032.Consultation is now open to inform the development of the Second Action Plan, and Jodie wants your organisation to be a part of it.
Guiding our collective efforts over the next five years, the Second Action Plan will focus on identifying what works and delivering practical, systemic solutions that have the greatest impact.
Nationally, Minister Tanya Plibersek and Assistant Minister Ged Kearney are engaging with academics and experts, frontline workers and services, community members and victim-survivors.
I want to ensure the perspectives of frontline organisations like yours are heard in this process and invite you to join me for a local consultation on the Second Action Plan.
The findings from the roundtable will support Minister Plibersek, Assistant Minister Kearney and the Department of Social Services to develop the Second Action Plan.
