Painting white successfully means using lots of colour! Learn how to see reflected light on white through a series of exercises.Finish the workshop painting a white flower in oils on a small canvas that reads as glowing, clean whites and not dull or muddy.
We will look at how to reduce a complex flower into basic shapes that can be built on to allow you to explore representational abstraction or take your painting into realism.
Paint materials and a 15x15cm canvas supplied; participants to bring visual diaries and paper.
