Join us for a day of learning, reflection and community as part of our ongoing volunteer and staff development program.
The day combines practical training with time for spiritual renewal, equipping you with valuable knowledge while offering the opportunity to pause, reflect and reconnect with your vocation of service.
Morning tea, lunch and refreshments are provided for all attendees.

10.00am – 12.00pm
NDIS Incident Reporting & Behaviour Management
This practical session will provide an overview of incident reporting obligations, behaviour support principles and best practice when supporting participants within the NDIS framework.
Presenter: Gudrun Gilles – Principal Consultant
Gudrun is a highly respected consultant, mentor and trainer with extensive experience in Western Australia's disability sector. She specialises in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), with expertise in strategic planning, compliance, financial management and risk management. Gudrun has supported numerous organisations and small businesses to strengthen their systems, governance and service delivery, making her a trusted advisor across the sector.

Mini Retreat – Be Still and Know That I Am God (Psalm 46.10)
Presented by Sr Shelley Barlow RNDM, this reflective session invites us to step away from the busyness of everyday life and spend time in prayer, Scripture and quiet reflection, inspired by the words of Psalm 46:10:
"Be still and know that I am God."
About Sr Shelley Barlow RNDM
Sr Shelley Barlow RNDM has spent many years in Catholic education, parish ministry and faith enrichment in Australia and overseas in the Philippines, Vietnam and Myanmar. These experiences have shaped her passion for helping others encounter God in everyday life through retreats and reflective prayer. She currently enjoys facilitating faith encounters in parishes and spiritual companioning.
