Join the PLC Old Collegians' Association for Meet the Authors, an afternoon celebrating the literary talent within the PLC community.
Acclaimed PLC Old Collegians and authors Anne Buist AO (1975) and Grace Chan (2006) will explore the theme Stories, Identity and the Voices of the Next Generation in a conversation moderated by Kristina Ong (2006).
Hear firsthand about the ideas, experiences and creative processes behind their writing before taking part in an audience Q&A.
Following the panel discussion, guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments and meet the authors during a book signing.
Net proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Old Collegians' Association Scholarship Fund.
ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Anne Buist AO (1975)
Anne Buist AO is an Australian researcher and practising psychiatrist specializing in women's mental health, in particular postpartum psychiatric illnesses. She is also a novelist, author of the Natalie King crime fiction series, and co-author, with her husband Graeme Simsion, of the novels Two Steps Forward (2017) and Two Steps Onward (2021).
Grace Chan (2006)
Grace Chan is an award-winning Australian speculative fiction author and practicing psychiatrist. Her background in medicine deeply informs her writing, allowing her to explore the fascinating intersections of the mind, body, consciousness, and technology.
