You are invited to join us for an afternoon of exceptional chamber music in support of the 2027 Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition (MICMC); a world-renowned event, established in Melbourne in 1991 that continues to help launch the careers of the world's best young musicians.Presented by Music and The Brain Foundation as the official community partner and headlined by four of Australia’s best, this event is designed for both long-time classical music lovers and those completely new to the genre. If you have never experienced a live chamber ensemble before, this fundraiser offers the perfect, welcoming introduction.
By purchasing a ticket, you are supporting global artistic talent while enjoying an afternoon of live performance that highlights the positive impact of music on the brain. In true community spirit ticket pricing includes tea, coffee, scones, jam and cream home baked and offered at interval by members of our local Country Women’s Association.
