The First 72 Hours Program is a fun, practical workshop that helps you prepare for emergencies while looking after yourself, your family, friends, neighbours and pets.
During major emergencies, increasing pressure on emergency services means communities are playing a bigger role than ever in keeping themselves safe.
This workshop explores simple, realistic ways to prepare for the first 72 hours of an emergency, when help may be delayed and you may need to rely on your own resources.
You'll learn practical steps to stay safe, supported and connected, and discover why having a household Emergency Plan can make all the difference.
Together, we'll build confidence, share knowledge and strengthen community connections so everyone is better prepared to support one another when it matters most.
Participants will receive a pack* containing:

🎒 A waterproof PVC Emergency Kit Dry Bag, which includes a handy emergency preparedness checklist printed on the outside, helping you stay organised and ready when it matters most.
