Kazi Konnect exists to solve one of Victoria’s hardest challenges: too many young people, newly arrived migrants, refugees, women and people leaving the justice system are locked out of work, even when major employers are looking for reliable workers. Our model is simple but powerful — connect people who are ready for a second chance with real paid jobs, proper training, union-protected conditions, and the community support needed to stay employed.

Through partnerships with employers, unions, community organisations and government, Kazi Konnect creates practical employment pathways into construction, infrastructure, cleaning, warehousing, logistics, facilities management and other high-demand industries. We believe the best form of social policy is a pay slip, a routine, a sense of dignity, and a pathway to independence.

This launch will bring together government, industry, unions, community leaders, service providers, employers and supporters who share a commitment to building a fairer workforce. The event will outline Kazi Konnect’s vision, partnership model, early employer opportunities, and our ambition to become a trusted employment pathway for people who are too often left behind.
