Directors NotesStarry Night is a play about what it means to keep living after loss. Rather than focusing on grief as an ending, it explores the small, everyday moments that slowly lead us back towards hope, connection and love. Set within the lives of ordinary people in a small town, Adam Szymkowicz reminds us that every person carries a story, and that healing often comes through community, kindness and the courage to let others in. Our production embraces the simplicity and honesty of these relationships, allowing the characters' humanity to take centre stage. I hope audiences leave recognising that while loss is universal, so too is our remarkable capacity to begin again.
