Join the Aurelian Ensemble for an afternoon of exquisite chamber music featuring two beloved piano trios from the Classical and Romantic repertoire.The program opens with the vibrant and spirited Haydn Piano Trio in G major, affectionately known as the “Gypsy” Trio, renowned for its infectious energy and dazzling Hungarian-inspired finale.
The second half is devoted to Schubert’s Piano Trio No. 2 in E-flat major, one of the greatest masterpieces of the chamber music repertoire. Rich in lyricism, drama and sweeping melodies, this monumental work showcases Schubert at the height of his creative powers and promises an unforgettable musical journey.
Performed by the Aurelian Ensemble, this concert celebrates the intimacy, beauty and expressive power of the piano trio, offering an afternoon of music that is both exhilarating and deeply moving.
