We've brought together local end-of-life experts from across the Blue Mountains and beyond to share practical advice, trusted information and community knowledge on topics ranging from advance care planning and paperwork to learning about palliative care support available and a range of end-of-life celebration options.

Whether you're planning ahead for yourself or supporting someone you care about, this event will help you better understand your options, make informed choices and connect with others in a supportive, welcoming environment.

While this is a free event, bookings are essential as places are limited. Morning tea will be provided.

Dying to Know is a national campaign that has been encouraging Australians to have open conversations about death, dying and grief since 2013. Each August, hundreds of community events are held across the country, inspiring people to learn about, discuss and plan for their end-of-life wishes, while supporting others to do the same.

The campaign theme for 2025-2027 is "Nobody Knows". At its heart, Nobody Knows is a simple reminder: if nobody knows your wishes, they can't honour them. Start the conversation today and let the people who matter most know what's important to you.

This event is being delivered by Springwood Neighbourhood Centre under the Connecting Seniors and Carers Program - a new program supporting older people and their carers to stay connected in their communities. This program is proudly funded by the NSW Government.
