Symposium: Negotiating Belonging: Leadership, Resistance and Culture in an Age of ExclusionPresented by the ANU Centre for European Studies and the Australian Society of Polish Jews and Their Descendants (ASPJ), this international conference explores how culture, education and institutions respond to exclusion and division, fostering dialogue, belonging and social cohesion. Topics range from media and memory to Yiddish theatre as a site of community and resistance.

Dr Agata Dąbrowska is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the University of Lodz.
Dr Jakub Parnes is Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Design and Analysis at the University of Economics in Katowice.
