Theme: Helping Families:Child Sexual Abuse, Family Violence & Suicide - Causes, Treatment & Prevention.Since March 2017 SafeCare has hosted a series of Symposia in Perth on Child Sexual Abuse Prevention. Australian and overseas presenters, both in-person and online, have offered many different perspectives on child sexual abuse prevention.. Up to 150 participants have attended each symposium representing a wide range of professionals, whose work brings them into contact with families where sexual harm to children has occurred. The 8th Symposium will focus presentations on the causes, treatment and prevention of child sexual abuse, family violence and suicide.
