Join us at the next Canopy Green Roof Forum event to hear about our new Garden City Community Guidelines.We're encouraging all Melburnians to join us in our mission to create a garden city. Low-cost, community-led greening is vital for creating more open space and biodiversity, and it’s a great way to connect with nature and your neighbours. Our new Garden City Community Guidelines encourage residents and businesses outside the central city to create gardens in local streets and laneways without needing a permit.
In this information session you will hear from City of Melbourne's Senior Green Infrastructure Officer on how these new guidelines can support you and your gardening aspirations. You will also hear from two of our community greening champions on their experiences of gardening in the public realm.
This event will be catered with light refreshments.
