About
Fit testing is an authorised process which determines whether a selected brand, model and/or size of P2/N95 respirator adequately fits the wearer and protects them from harm.All health care workers who are required to wear a respirator as a part of their role, due to exposure to infectious respiratory diseases or other respiratory hazards, will undergo a fit test on an annual basis under this program. Fit testing does not replace fit checking, which needs to be performed every time a respirator is used.
Please review FAQ attachment prior to attendance at fit test appointment. Please note in particular
Refrain from eating, drinking (other than water) or smoking in the 30 minutes before your test as this can affect your test outcomes.
Be clean-shaven and avoid wearing makeup such as foundations as these can lead to invalid test results
Please proceed to book your preferred time.
