Community and Cultural Workshops with Stephanie Reynolds
About
Community and Cultural Workshop Series - Paper on Skin™ 2026Facilitated by Stephanie Reynolds.
In 2024, almost 450 people contributed to the creation of the Universe of Paper - a forest wonderland in the Market Square Pavilion made almost entirely of paper!
The giant installation was part of the Paper on Skin™ 2024 festivities.
This year, Stephanie Reynolds will once again lead a series of free workshops, inviting the community to participate in the creation of a paper vertical garden.
The large vertical garden panels will line the theatre foyer of the paranaple arts centre – creating another magical setting for the Paper on Skin™ gala event.
The workshops are designed to be fun and accessible – welcoming creativity at all skill levels.
During additional workshops in this series Steph will be co-tutoring with local artist, dancer, and cultural practitioner, Karen Smart.
Objects made in during these sessions will be used in the opening welcome ceremony for the Up-Close Showcase at Basalt Restaurant on the 4th October.
Sessions are open to all ages. Children aged 12 or younger need to be accompanied by and adult.
Children need to be able to manage scissors and glue.
This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Festivals Australia program.
