Munira is a debut author whose book, The Clinging Thing, was published in July by Penguin Random House. The Clinging Thing considers generational memory and the experiences of those who have gone before us through Munira’s distinct Australian-Bangladeshi voice, in this moving tale of grief, understanding and picturing a future. Julie will discuss this beautiful book as well as the experience of being a debut author with Munira.Tickets are $10, including nibbles and a drink, or $40.50 for a ticket and the book (at a 10% discount). The book will also be available for purchase on the day at a 10% discount.
