Victorian Inter-Club Rapid Championship 2026Represent your club at Victoria's premier team rapid chess competition!
Chess Victoria invites all affiliated clubs to compete in the Victorian Inter-Club Rapid Championship 2026, a one-day event celebrating club pride, friendly rivalry and the Victorian chess community.
📅 Event Details
• Date: Sunday, 22 November 2026
• Venue: Melbourne Chess Club, 66 Leicester Street, Fitzroy VIC
• Format: 9-Round Team Round Robin or Swiss (subject to entries)
• Time Control: 13 minutes + 2 seconds increment
• Ratings: ACF Quick & FIDE Rapid Rated
• Chief Arbiter: IA Dr Peter Tsai
👥 Team Composition
• 4 players + up to 1 reserve
• Players listed in ACF Quick rating order
• Minimum 1 female player per team
• Maximum 2 teams per club (second team must be either a Junior Team or an All-Female Team)

Metropolitan Clubs
• 🐦 Early Bird: $200 per team
• Standard Entry: $250 per team
Regional Clubs
• 🐦 Early Bird: $100 per team
• Standard Entry: $150 per team

• 🏆 Victorian Inter-Club Champion – $500 + Medals
• 🏆 Victorian Junior Inter-Club Champion (if conducted) – $500 + Medals
