In this real life, fair dinkum, tell it how it is, Zoom online course with Jacob we will be exploring ways for kids ages 11 to 16 to earn money.This 'Course' has a number of significant difference to most of Jacob's regular courses.
1. It is one child per ticket. If you have two children that you want to participate you will need to purchase two tickets - even if it is the same login and screen.
This is because in lesson 4, Jacob hopes that each participant gets a chance to share.
1 Child = 1 ticket. 2 Children = 2 tickets (even if they are sharing a screen)
2. There is no equipment required and it is not practical Science. It is about life experience.
3. The ticket price is MUCH cheaper then Jacob's other classes.
There are a few reasons for this.
i. There is almost no preparation or packup time for Jacob
ii. One of the concepts in the course is Fair Pay for Fair Work. As this is an area outside Jacob's 'formal education' and based on the expected effort required to run this course, Jacob thinks that if he sells all the tickets, this will equate to fair pay
iii. One of the challenges that Jacob will set the kids will be that they earn enough money that they can pay back the $20 ticket price to their parents. Jacob wants to make this a realistic possibility.
4. This course will NOT be recorded and so if you miss a lesson, there will be no recording to watch

There is now a two week break where families are encouraged to work together so that participants can earn some money
