Keeping Space in Sight: Why Space Monitoring Matters
About
How do we keep track of Australian objects once they are in space and why does it matter for safety, regulation and responsible space activities?Join the Space Regulation Advisory Collective in August for an introduction to space monitoring featuring presentations and interactive virtual learning activities led by the National Space Safety Office’s Space Monitoring Team within the National Space Safety Office. The session will explore how space monitoring supports awareness of Australian objects in orbit, helps inform regulatory oversight, and contributes to the safe and responsible use of space.
This session is a valuable opportunity for SRAC members to better understand an important part of Australia’s space safety framework and ask questions directly of the team working in this area.
