Mentor Support Evening!
Join us for an evening of learning, reflection, and connection as we explore "Mentoring the Mentor", a session focused on strengthening your confidence, protecting your wellbeing, and supporting you in the important role you play.
Because great mentors deserve support too!
🌱 Prioritising your wellbeing
We will discuss practical self-care strategies and learn how to recognise and prevent mentor burnout, so you can continue showing up for your mentee while also looking after yourself.
💬 Building confidence in difficult conversations
Our incredible guest speaker Clinical Psychotherapist Simon Lipschitz will share practical approaches to incidental counselling, helping you feel more equipped to respond when young people bring challenging conversations or unexpected situations to your mentoring relationship. Simon is an experienced counsellor and therapist and has worked for the past 13 years in the fields of mental health, with further specialisations in substance abuse, adolescence, family dynamics, relationship breakdown, and trauma.
🤝 Group supervision & Q&A
Bring your questions, share your experiences, and hear from other mentors navigating similar challenges. This is a supportive, confidential space to reflect together, gain fresh perspectives, and learn from one another with guidance from our guest professional.
☕ Connect with fellow mentors
This is a great opportunity to catch up with fellow mentors, build new connections, and remember that you're part of a community that supports one another.
