About
Are you an emerging artist, designer, filmmaker, animator, photographer, illustrator or creative technologist looking to expand your practice? Step beyond the screen and into the world of large-scale projection art.City of Whittlesea and Little Projector Company are seeking a small group of curious and creative participants to join a hands-on Projection Artist Development Program at the historic Ziebell’s Farmhouse.
Across four practical workshops, you’ll learn how artists transform buildings, landscapes and public spaces into immersive visual experiences using light, video, animation and projection mapping. Your work will then be projected onto the historic Ziebell's’ Farmhouse during the 2026 Walking Thomastown festival on Saturday 29 August. Whether you’re interested in public art, festivals, digital storytelling, live visuals, installation art, animation, photography or experimental media, this program offers a unique opportunity to explore new creative possibilities while developing your own original artwork.
