Rocky Creek Igloo Fundraiser Walk
About
Rocky Creek Igloo Fundraiser WalkHosted by the Mareeba Lions Young Leaders in Service
Join the Mareeba Lions Young Leaders in Service for a relaxing Fundraiser Walk from the Rocky Creek Igloo to the Walkamin Community and Sports Hall in support of the Amy Braes Ovarian Cancer Campaign.
The Young Leaders in Service Program is the Lions Club of Mareeba's youth leadership initiative, empowering local young people to develop leadership skills while making a positive difference through volunteering, teamwork and community service. Planned and delivered by our Young Leaders, this event showcases their commitment to giving back while creating a memorable community experience for everyone involved.
The Rocky Creek Igloo Walk is a relatively easy 8 km walk, following the scenic and mostly flat Mareeba–Atherton Rail Trail. It's suitable for walkers of most fitness levels and offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Tablelands while supporting a fantastic cause.
A courtesy bus will transport participants from the Walkamin Community and Sports Hall to the Rocky Creek Igloo before the walk begins. From there, you'll enjoy an easy stroll along the Rail Trail back to the hall.

$40 per person
Your registration includes:

💙 Wear Teal for a Cause!
Let's paint the mountain teal in support of Amy Braes's campaign for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation – Start The Chat. Build The Buzz. Overcome Ovarian Cancer.
We encourage everyone to wear teal clothing or accessories to help raise awareness of ovarian cancer and to spark important conversations. Together, we can make a powerful visual statement of hope, support and community while helping raise awareness for this important cause.
