MACKAY NETBALL ASSOCIATION
Program Overview
Super Sunday is a four-week initiative supporting the development of players, coaches and umpires across the Mackay Netball Association. It creates a positive learning environment where participants build new skills, gain practical experience and build confidence through education, mentoring and match play. By bringing all three pathways together, Super Sunday strengthens the quality of netball across the Association while creating opportunities for future leaders, coaches and officials.
The program runs as a two-week cycle, repeated twice across the four Sundays.
Program Cycle
- Weeks 1 & 3 — Footwork & Movement focus, paired with Foundation Umpiring Module 1 and Foundation Coaching Module 1 content
- Weeks 2 & 4 — Passing & Timing focus, paired with Foundation Umpiring Module 2 and Foundation Coaching Module 2 content
Repeating the two-week cycle lets newcomers who missed Week 1 join in Week 3 without missing content, and gives every participant two passes at each skill and theory block to build confidence
