Recfishwest is proud to partner with King Bay Game Fishing Club to deliver a FREE, fun, safe and hands-on fishing experience in Dampier!Proudly supported by Woodside Energy, Healthway and Shimano, these sessions are designed to get kids outdoors, learning new skills and discovering the joy of fishing in a safe and sustainable way. Whether you’re casting a line for the first time or already a keen young angler, our clinics are the perfect way to build confidence, pick up new techniques and enjoy time by the water.
This 2 hour session includes:
• 15 minutes – interactive talk and demonstration on fishing basics, safety and sustainability
• 90 minutes – guided fishing and advice from our instructors and club volunteers - with all gear and bait supplied
• 15 minutes – wrap-up, Q&A and prize giveaways

When: Saturday, 15-August-2026, 10-12pm
What to bring: Please make sure your child has a hat and SunSmart clothing, adequate hydration and supervision
