About
This is the first Expressive Art Making workshop in a series of three which aim to encourage the expression of creativity and social connection for community members.The intention is to promote the health and wellbeing of the community through art making alongside each other.
Participants will be invited to engage with these activities and creative practices with encouragement to experiment and explore the materials with curiosity and imagination.
This creative workshop involves a colour transfer activity, with aluminium foil, markers, water, paper.
Participants are invited to experiment with different colour combinations, transfer them to paper, and then cut, arrange, and glue down shapes of their choice.
This workshop is supported by Hobsons Bay City Council and takes place on Bunurong Country. Woods Street Arts Space is wheelchair accessible, and has gender neutral toilets.
Facilitated by Augustine Ang, an artist and qualified Art Therapist.
No art experience necessary. Suitable for all ages. Children under 12 must be supervised.
All materials provided. Participants will leave with their artwork.
