Mic Conway and Robbie Long present an hilarious array of idiosyncratic songs that will make your jaw drop, toes tap and sides split. Audiences who know Mic from his days with "Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band" and Circus Oz will be delighted by this duo incarnation: Mic as storyteller of tall tales and true, Robbie as the musical conjuror and comic sidekick. There’s nothing quite like it here or abroad! There's magic, juggling, cavorting and that trademark tongue-in-cheek sense of humour. They will be supported by Nerds & Music, a remakable band made up in equal parts by Clark Gormley and Wayne Thompson who have been performing their original brand of quirky songs since 2008. They perform as a band made up of two cyborgs assembled by some deranged mechanic in his back shed in Newcastle. Their repertoire ranges from sea shanties about the national broadband network to meditations on the colour brown. Audiences have been rendered dumbstruck by their weirdness, witticisms, wordplay, and alliteration. The most typical response is tummy splitting laughter and huge grins expressing wonder and enjoyment.

Nerds prove that you can be exotic and brown, highbrow and lowbrow, stultifyingly deadpan and passionate, imbecilic and profound. And they have a higher word-count per song that just about anyone out there.
