We are pleased to announce that the new Ambulatory Care Centre has achieved Practical Completion, marking a significant milestone in the delivery of this facility.The building has now been handed over for final commissioning, operational readiness activities, and preparations for service relocation.
Over the coming weeks, operational teams will begin a carefully coordinated transition into the new building. The relocation will be undertaken in stages to ensure continuity of care, minimise disruption to patients and staff, and support a safe and efficient commencement of services.
When opened, the building will house administration, clinical and outpatient services decanted from the existing hospital and portables from the northern part of the hospital campus.
Services will move into the building from 31st July 2026 with the first patients being seen from 3rd August 2026. As we prepare for the official opening, staff will be invited to tour the building.
For your tour please meet at the main entrance of the ACC Building (Entry 4) at your scheduled time. The ACC building is located at the back of the Northern Hospital Epping Campus across from the staff multideck car park.
