The Friends of the Australian Arid lands Botanic Garden are holding our inaugural Sturt Desert Pea Festival on November 7th 2026. We have a guest speaker - horticulturalist, author and Adelaide media personality, Sophie Thomson. This a free event, however seating is limited, so please reserve your seat using this online booking system There there will be two sessions with Sophie 10.30am and 3.15pm.The theme for the 10.30 presentation is - 'Cooler, Greener more livable backyards'
The theme for the 3.15 presentation is 'Rewilding a Challenging Landscape. The Development of the Garden at Sophies Patch'
