Join Archbishop Christopher Prowse for the 10th Annual Pilgrimage to Eden, a prayerful and uplifting day honouring Australia’s first saint, St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, and her deep connection with our Archdiocese.This special pilgrimage offers a meaningful opportunity for prayer, celebration of Mass, and fellowship with others from across the Archdiocese. All are warmly invited to take part in this cherished annual tradition.
Bus transport is available; however, seats are limited and must be booked in advance. Return ticket price is $65.00 ++.
Pilgrimage Itinerary
6:15 AM – Assembly at St John Vianney Primary School Bus Zone, 91 Namatjira Drive, Waramanga, ACT.
6:45 AM sharp - (No Waiting, No Delay) – Departure for Eden
11:00 AM – Pilgrim Walk commencing at Eden AFL Grounds
12:00 PM – Holy Mass, to be presided over by Archbishop Christopher Prowse at Our Lady of Star of the Sea Church, Eden
1:00 PM – Lunch at the Church Grounds
2:00 PM – Visit to the Mary MacKillop Museum
2:30 PM – Departure from Eden
Two short stopovers will be scheduled to visit local sites along the route before returning to Waramanga.
Coffee break at Bega Cheese Heritage Centre, still looking for another site open on Saturday.
8:00 PM – Estimated arrival at St John Vianney Primary School Bus Zone
No Refund Policy – Eden Pilgrimage Transport
Bus transport is booked in advance based on confirmed numbers; therefore, all payments are final and non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your seat to another person by notifying the organisers in advance.
In the event that the pilgrimage is cancelled by the organisers, a full refund will be issued.
