What to Expect at Our Student Recitals

Our student recitals are designed to give students of all abilities the opportunity to learn, prepare, and perform in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment. These events are a chance to build confidence, celebrate progress, and share music with family and friends.

Each student will perform up to three pieces. Repertoire is selected in consultation with their teacher, ensuring the pieces suit the student’s current level and highlight their strengths. The focus is on confident, enjoyable performance rather than perfection.

Students are encouraged to keep their repertoire active and well-practised throughout the term. Maintaining a “recital-ready” playlist helps make selecting performance pieces straightforward and ensures students always have music they can play comfortably and with confidence.

Recitals also help students develop important performance skills, including stage presence, preparation, and listening to others. We aim to create a positive and respectful atmosphere where every student feels supported.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and share in the experience. Your encouragement plays an important role in each student’s musical journey.
