Guided Jam Session
About
This workshop is geared towards improving the enjoyment of your own playing and your experience of playing with others in the context of a jazz jam session with guidance provided. This could be a rare opportunity to get feedback on your playing within a group setting.There will be two rounds of jamming and feedback - play a few tunes, get feedback, play again, feedback again.
Places are limited and bookings are required.
All are welcome even if you have never played jazz or been to a jam session, but a minimum of 2+ years playing your instrument is recommended. A PA, drum kit, piano, bass amp and guitar amps will be provided at the venue. Vocalists are welcome - please bring your own microphone and if possible your own mic cable. Drummers should bring their own cymbals.
Location will be provided upon registration.
Sheet music PDFs will be provided via email (participants to bring their own printouts or tablets).
